Time Tracking
Track time spent on tasks. Available on the Team plan and above.
Starting a timer
Open any task and click the ▶ Start Timer button. A running timer indicator appears in the top navigation bar across the entire app — you can navigate away and the timer keeps running. Click the indicator at any time to stop the timer and save the entry.
Time entries
Each time you stop a timer, a new time entry is created on the task. You can add an optional description to each entry. The task detail panel shows all time entries with durations and a total time rolled up at the top.
Billable hours report
Go to Analytics → Billable Hours to see time tracked per user and per project. Filter by date range. Useful for:
- Client billing — how many hours went into a project
- Capacity analysis — who is over/under capacity
- Estimating future work — benchmark against past actuals
Focus Mode (Pomodoro)
For deep work, activate Focus Mode from the toolbar. GrowthOS runs a 25-minute Pomodoro timer with a 5-minute break. An audio notification plays when each interval ends. Your session count is tracked. Focus Mode is separate from the task timer — it's for personal productivity, not billing.
