Getting Started

Getting Started

From signup to your first autonomous outbound batch in under 30 minutes.

1

Create your account

Go to leados.salesshuru.com/auth/register. Sign up with email + password or Google OAuth. This creates your org in LeadOS.

2

Connect Apollo.io

Go to Settings → Integrations → Apollo. Paste your Apollo API key from Apollo Settings → API.

LeadOS uses Apollo for prospecting (finding contacts) and enrichment (getting email/phone). Apollo credits are tracked per month — LeadOS will never overspend your budget.

No Apollo account?

LeadOS runs in demo mode with sample data if Apollo is not connected. You'll see mock prospects so you can explore the UI before committing.

3

Connect your sending mailbox

Go to Settings → Mailbox. Connect Gmail or Outlook via OAuth. Sending from your own mailbox dramatically improves deliverability compared to generic transactional email.

If you skip this, LeadOS falls back to sending via AWS SES from leads@salesshuru.com.

4

Define your ICP

Go to Settings → ICP Profile. Set:

  • Industries — e.g. SaaS, Fintech, D2C
  • Geographies — e.g. India, Southeast Asia
  • Job titles — e.g. Founder, VP Sales, CTO
  • Company size — e.g. 10–200 employees

This ICP drives every Apollo search. The outbound engine pulls contacts matching this profile daily.

5

Configure the outbound engine

Go to Outbound. Set:

  • Daily limit — how many new contacts to add per day (capped by your plan)
  • Product pitch — 2–3 sentences about what you sell. AI uses this when writing personalized emails.
  • Auto-research — toggle on to have AI research every new prospect before sending

Toggle the engine to Active. From now on it runs automatically every day at 6 AM IST.

6

Run your first batch manually

Don't wait until 6 AM. On the Outbound page, click Run Now. LeadOS will:

  1. Pull up to your daily limit of contacts from Apollo
  2. Research each company with Claude AI
  3. Enroll each contact in your default 4-step sequence
  4. Send the first email immediately

The run log shows: prospects found, added, researched, enrolled, emails sent. Check Leads to see your new pipeline.
